School Bus Safety Week!

After more than 30 years of dedication to Kaw Valley USD 321 and Rossville Jr/Sr High School, we’re celebrating Curt Brecheisen, our incredible Assistant Principal and Athletic Director, for his decades of leadership, support, and commitment to our students, staff, and community.

Mr. B has spent his career shaping the lives of countless students—cheering on our athletes, leading with heart, and representing Rossville with pride. His passion for education, sports, and our Dawg community has left a lasting legacy that will be felt for years to come.

While he’ll be retiring at the end of the 2025–2026 school year, there’s still plenty of time to celebrate and thank him for all he’s done for USD 321 and Rossville!

Today, Rossville Grade School went into a soft lockdown due to a medical emergency. A soft lockdown means students remain in their classrooms and continue learning as normal, but movement around the building is restricted. This allows medical personnel the space and privacy they need to assist the individual in need. A huge thank you to Chief Thompson with the Rossville Fire Department, EMT Wyatt Dyche, and Chief Sipp with the Rossville Police Department for their quick and professional response. We are truly blessed to have such caring and capable public servants supporting our small community.

Our Student Leadership Team officers are hard at work today planning the Fall Festival for our younger students! 🎃 President Djesse, Vice President Charlotte, and Secretary Ashlyn are organizing where each team member will help out and making sure every detail is ready for a fun event. Good Call Home! 🎉 Today Dayson and Milo showed awesome character! A friend dropped her pencil box in the gym and supplies scattered everywhere. While other kids hurried to line up, these two boys stopped to help her gather everything. What could have been a frustrating moment turned into something really kind and positive. Way to go, boys! 👏👏
