Led by the School Social Work Association of America, this year’s theme, “Unite to Ignite: Celebrating Our Impact,” honors their dedication to supporting students, families, and school communities.
Thank you Mandy Gerstner and Katie Glennon for all you do!
Thank you for helping create safe, supportive spaces where all students can thrive! ✨

We are bursting with pride for our students and staff! The Kansas Masonic Foundation recently recognized several members of our Dawg family for their incredible achievements.
🏆 Statewide Champion: Congratulations to James Wuensch for winning 1st Place in the Statewide Essay Contest! James was awarded a $4,000 scholarship for his outstanding work.
🥈 Local Winners: A huge shoutout to Gabriel Cooney (2nd Place) and Jack Donovan (3rd Place) for their success in the local essay competition.
💡 Teacher Excellence: None of this would be possible without the inspiration of Mrs. Hill, who was honored with an Excellence in Teaching Award. Your dedication to our students’ voices is unmatched!
🏫 Special Recognition: Kristin Lehman received the Exemplary Teacher award for the grade school. It was a deeply moving moment as Mrs. Lehman shared a powerful speech, urging everyone to get checked and take care of their skin. Her courage in sharing this message—knowing her family's personal battle with melanoma—left a lasting impact on everyone in the room.
❤️ Service Above Self: As part of their winnings, our students were able to direct a $2,500 donation to a charity of their choice. They have chosen the Outpacing Melanoma Foundation in honor of the Lehman family. Our thoughts and support continue to be with the Lehmans and our entire community as we stand together in this fight.
Go Dawgs!!!
